01Who we are
Indīvarā Arts is a Bharatanatyam studio at D-421, Freedom Towers, Akashwani Chowk, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar 431001. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and our classes, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It is written in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
02What we collect
- Enquiries ("Book a trial class"): the student's name, phone or WhatsApp number, who is learning (child, teen or adult), level, preferred class mode and your message.
- Event bookings: your name, phone number, email (optional), number of seats, the amount paid and the Razorpay order and payment reference.
- Payments: card, UPI and bank details are entered on Razorpay's secure checkout and handled by Razorpay. We do not receive or store them.
- Messages: anything you send us on WhatsApp, by email or phone.
- Website usage: pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location and how you arrived, collected by Google Analytics using cookies.
03How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, arrange a trial class and place students in the right batch.
- To confirm event bookings, take payments, issue refunds and let you know about changes to an event.
- To keep records required for accounting and tax.
- To understand how the website is used and improve it.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising by others.
06Children
Many of our students are children. Enquiries and bookings for a child should be made by a parent or guardian, who provides the child's details with their consent. We collect only what we need to teach and keep in touch.
07How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as they are useful for following up and running classes, and booking and payment records for as long as the law requires for accounting. When information is no longer needed, we delete it.
08Your rights
You can ask us to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw consent for messages at any time. Email info@indivaraarts.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
09Security
The website uses HTTPS, payments go through Razorpay's secure checkout, and only authorised studio staff can access enquiries and bookings. No method of storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care to protect your information.
