About Indīvarā Arts

Indīvarā Arts was born from a small dream: a place where Bharatanatyam is learnt not as a sequence of movements, but as a complete and meaningful art form.

We follow the Kalakshetra tradition and teach the whole art: technique, rhythm, abhinaya, theory, history, Carnatic music and Nattuvangam.

Students build discipline, musicality, sensitivity and curiosity. They grow as performers, and as people with their own artistic voice.

Through performances, workshops, examinations and their own artistic projects, art here is respected, questioned, experienced and carried forward.

  • Rooted in tradition.
  • Guided by discipline.
  • Creating dancers for the future.

Founder & Artistic Director

Srushti Loya

“Bharatanatyam is not simply a dance form. It is a way of understanding movement, music, emotion and the human experience.”

Srushti began Bharatanatyam at seven. She went on to the Kalakshetra Foundation, Chennai, for her graduation and post-graduation in Bharatanatyam. She has also trained in Nattuvangam, Carnatic music and Kathakali, and her degree in Psychology shapes how she understands expression and storytelling.
